Pathway Team Spotlight: Beth

Hello, friends!

As we enter June, it’s hard not to reflect on the strangeness of the past few months. So many things have changed in our lives since the coronavirus crisis truly began affecting our daily lives back in March.

We’re so grateful to report, however, that here at Pathway Design Group, the talent, positivity, and adaptability of our staff has not changed, and we are happy to continue our Pathway Spotlight series with our administrative specialist, Beth Dush. Beth has been an invaluable part of the Pathway team since its beginnings, and we thank our lucky stars for her every day!

What services does Pathway Design Group provide that you find to be the most meaningful?

Beth: MBTI (Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator) testing and reporting. I find it interesting to find out things about myself, and incorporate them into my work or even home life. I also like being able to understand the personality types of people in other areas of my life, so that I can better-understand and build on those relationships.

How would you describe yourself, in 5 words?

Beth: I think I’d say I’m organized, conscientious, outgoing, traditional, and personable!

How do you think others would describe you, in 5 words?

Beth: You know, to be honest, I think they’d describe me the same way I describe myself!

You know how we feel about lessons here at Pathway! What’s your favorite lesson you’ve learned since beginning work here?

Beth: Patience. Being part of a business in its startup phase brings many lessons learned through trial and error. I have learned that what works at one place of employment, does not always work at another. Making sure that you work through and perfect those processes takes patience, but almost always pays off in the end. Slow and steady wins the race! Patience and perseverance has been the key!

What is your favorite part of your workday?

Beth: I would have to say, I just love the staff in general, and our daily team meetings are great!

Tell us more about you! What brought you to Pathway?

Beth: In the past, I’ve worked in Accounting, Law, and Banking. Before coming to Pathway,, I had worked in healthcare for 21 years — in fact, I worked closely with both Claressa and Martha throughout my healthcare years. When the two of them decided to open an HR consulting business (where I knew they both excelled), it was pretty much a no-brainer! I wanted to be a part of that team!

What’s life like for you, outside of the awesome work you do here at Pathway?

Beth: I’m married to Brad, and have two children: Ben (21) and Sarah (18). Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors by gardening and helping out on our acreage. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends. I guess my hobby would include helping and attending horse shows that my daughter participates in. As for volunteering, I’m a member of the Buffalo County PAT Horse Committee and a board member of the Nebraska Horse Clubs Association.

Beth, we’re so happy to have you on our team!
